Besides Eichel and Risto, Jamie McGinn has been the most effective player as of late.
He missed a TON of time last year and it's nice to see his effort pay off

He's been solid, but I'd put Foligno, Franson, Ennis up there as well.

The whole team is playing effective hockey. It feels so good to sit back and watch this team again.

I'm liking that ROR/McGinn trade more and more.

On the Flyers thread theyre making deals for Samson. They are convinced we will take a 38 year old defenseman, a 3rd liner and and draft choice for him. lol...fans

Doesn't sound like Murray has plans to make any changes. That was another point of discussion that was brought up on WGR last week. He said he's letting all the pieces fall into place right now and that he's not looking to make any moves right now.

Last night's game is the first I've been able to watch in a while.

It was so nice to see them function as a competent NHL team again.

Going to be lots of fun to watch this team mature and get better.

Oh, and Eichel is pretty good.

you said it.

Last season i would kind of just DVR through most games to see the highlights.

This season it's definitely fun to watch.

I can't remember the last time we had a player that can do what Eichel does. I've always heard color commentary about how such and such player can actually have the ability to slow the game down, always thought it was BS, but man he sure does it, almost like the opposing D are backing right off at times, not wanting to attach him with the puck on and get schooled.

I think it's funny how people were ready to say the rebuild failed and how Tim Murray needed to be fired after that Montreal game. What a difference 2 weeks makes.
