Nice to see Zacha getting 3g 2a in one outing. That's more like what we need.

Miles wood had a goal and 2 assists against UNH. From what I heard he has been doing amazing.

Also wonder how Tootoo will handle the whole burrows thing this game.

Didnt see the game but I have no idea why they didnt go back with Schneider. He rarely has two bad games in a row and we need to stay a float. Also I think Kinky has looked like a shell of how he was playing last season. In the outings so far he has scared me has had me thinking if we where going to win it was going to be in spite of him and not because he was keeping us in anything. I think it comes done to us not being able to do anything that will really help us climb the standings so they don't mind if we fall back down to earth and stick with the original plan which was pick high!

At 6'3 210 and the way he shoots and skates we should be seeing lots of those big nights this season. I really hope he pulls it together, obviously he isnt having a terrible year but this time what is the excuse for not dominating the league in your second year ? As a sixth overall pick I really hope he starts to show more consistency. I dont expect 1-3 goals a game but a ppg or more would be ideal and with the tools he has he shouldnt have to many gaps where he is pointless. It's not like he isn't on a pretty good team to!

Watching some of the highlights from the Sting games, I can't say whether he'll ever be more than solid top-6 forward, but man his shot is filthy.

He hasn't been that bad. He isn't playing that good either, but he hasn't cost us any games. And he was far from the main problem in the Edmonton game. I don't think he'd be here if they thought he was going to hurt the team in the standings, nothing Shero has done so far has been with the intention of improving the team's lottery odds.

If they don't start getting some scoring beyond 5 players they will likely slide in the standings. However the December schedule is much easier than November. They are 6 points from Washington for 3rd in the conference but just 5 points ahead of Columbus at the bottom of the conference. The playoff picture is wide open, of course so is the lottery.

Sloppy but relentless. We had low hopes for the O and high hopes for the D and just the opposite is happening. The backline is starting to contribute more on the stats sheet, but I'd much rather see them be more confident in their own zone.

I know it takes a while for truly good defensemen to mature, but it'd be nice to see some progress by the midway point this season.

That being said, great win and thoroughly enjoyable season so far.

If only to give opponents the iciest stare ever, he can probably still be useful out there.
