Bad topic Pach after what was just leaked but you put a lot of effort into this one so I know why you posted it.
I don't think Eberle fits what GMTM is trying to build a big fast team, which is why I see Ennis on his way out sooner than later. |

Do they even have assets outside of Eichel, Reinhart, or Ristolainen to really make that happen?
I know you're suggesting Pysyk for Eberle, but I feel like if I'm Edmonton, I can do better elsewhere. |

Ennis and Pysyk maybe...but like I said I don't think Eberle fits in to what Murray is building. |

I was ok with McNabb leaving cuz we still had Pysk. We are out of extra blue chip prospects on D. I wouldn't do this deal. |

I would love him but that's too much for him |

This would be a huge mistake IMO. |

Ennis is (basically) a 20 goal scorer, Eberle is about a 25-28 goal scorer - both since the lockout.
Is it worth the cost difference? Not only giving up Ennis, but another good young d-man (whether Pysyk or McCabe)? |

what school did you get your math skills?
7 mil is different then 6 mil
stamkos = 7 letters
eberle = 6 letters
eberle gets 6 mil per season |

After watching WAY too much Oilers and Yotes games last season #Tank trading Nuge would be an enormous mistake for them. Extremely underrated player in both ends and has improved mountains in the last two years. He has held his own against so big Pacific centers (jumbo, Getz, Kopi) on a terrible team.
Eberle on the flip side is harder to judge imo he is better than Pysyk but idk if he's worth more to our team than pysyk. When fransons gone i think youll see the Pysyk that is a lock in our top 4 |

I wouldn't like to move Pysyk or McCabe. But if it came down to it which one do you give up? Last year i say McCabe, now im not so sure, his game is really coming around. |

yeah, I know...however, guhle's performance at training camp kinda changed things for me...he looked as if he was ready to play in the nhl this year...Florentino should hit Rochester next season and 19 yr. old Brycen martin is having a big season with Everett in the whl... |

No to Eberle. I don't want to inject a player who is accustomed to losing on a regular basis to the core of this team.
I don't think we need a 5'11'' 189 lbs guy here. We got smaller guys already (Ennis)
No for me to an Edmonton trade unless we're talking about McDavid (Which I know wouldn't happen) I got no Interest in bringing in players from a losing organization here.
Buffalo worked too hard to change the culture and it's definitely on the upswing. |

down the road, when the skunk, risto, and eichel gets paid, there needs to be a lot of wingers in the pipeline to plug and play on the cheap
not an issue now, but 5 years from now it will be |

Is he though? Moulson was putting up sick numbers too playing with great talent, so why not just do that?
Besides, he's 25, it's all downhill now, so why give up the assets? |

At 23rd in the league overall Buffalo is right about where they should be after coming off of consecutive 30th-place finishes. In fact one could say that they might be a little ahead.
We are 3 pts ahead of the Oil. |

The type of player I would like is a Blake Wheeler type. A bigger built body with lots of speed. A 60-70 point per year player who won't hurt you in your own end.
He could keep up with Eichel. Obviously I wish he was 2 or 3 years younger but I think that's the type of player Murray would want to add over an Eberle type. |
