The P. Kane goal tonight I thought was questionable to begin with. Upon the tv reviews that I saw, it looked like the puck was hidden from the ref or play might have been stopped. I was sure the goal would be called back. A better camera angle showed the puck never was trapped by the goalie. For all of the blown calls and too quick of whistles that everyone despises when they go against our teams, this one was right from the beginning. As a new official, and as anyone who cares about the good of the game, I am happy to say the live referees proved their worth as the best, better than the cameras, etc. Great non freeze call. |
