Better be cheap. Kid has not remotely lived up to potential. |

Rychel for Etem deals makes a lot of sense to me. Again both guys are in a much different scenario than Jensen. |

If we get Etem, it's a lateral move, Etem isn't an upgrade and I don't see the Rangers taking Higgins or Burrows off of our hands for us. If we do get him and the trade does end up being Jensen for Etem, I'd consider that equal value. Etem is just Jensen with more NHL games played. |

He has been great, just to much depth for him to stay in the line up. |

an excellent read on the X's and O's of hockey. A good guide to how a real nhl coaching staff SHOULD be handling a team....

we havent had this is so many years. This is what this team desperately needs. An actual system, a new system |

input from the Leafs thread might be more beneficial. - Codes1087[
My article won't appear on the right side of the homepage where other blogs are listed. So I'm assuming if people comment it will eventually make it, right? |

What makes you say that ?
Jensen has 57 pts in 139 games.
Etem put up 92 in 119.
Etem also put up more impressive numbers in juniors, while admittedly I haven't watched much Etem I don't see how the comparison sticks. |

Rychel has much much more value than Etem at this point. A Etem for Jensen makes the most sense at this point as far as players being chosen in the first round, and not living up to their expectations. |

So that means rangers would likely be looking for a waiver ineligible prospect or pick.
No thanks. |

Etem is simply yet another project player, unfortunately, we would have to see how this project would work out at the NHL level
No point unless we move a 3rd/4th liner off our NHL roster... |

Nah, I'm joking.. he (frank)ing blows.
Seriously, might need a change of scenery but I have no idea how he will ever play in the NHL. Bad away from the puck, weirdest skating stride I have ever seen and the supposed skill, well we haven't seen it in any game he has played this year. |

How does he have more value?
He reportedly has asked to be traded and is at odds with CLB mgmt. He and Etem have comparable stats in the AHL although much less games. He also can move up and down through waivers. |

He plays a similar game to Jensen, maybe slightly more talented offensively, but refuses to go to the net and his skating isn't that great. The reason he's got more points then Jensen is because until he got traded, Etem played with DSP (Devon Smith-Pelly) who did most of the work on his line for him. |

Good to know, strange that you mention his skating stride, his MH line mate Shinkaruk also has goofy skating. |
