I love the shout out to special teams. This I believe is the main reason Higgins got sent down. He wasn't producing points and wasn't doing anything in his best spot the PK. I thank Higgins for his time here but he has fallen off the depth charts. It had to be done.

Off topic, but since I live in Toronto I get the pleasure of 24hours Leafs coverage on TSN. While channel surfing last night I saw the funniest thing. After Leafs loss in the press conference a reporter asked Babcock "What do you think of the entertainment value of the game tonight?"
Babcock looked annoyed then said "I will go home crack a beer with my wife and ask her what did she think of the entertainment value and then get back to you"...I almost fell off the couch.
I wonder if Babs thinks he should have asked for more money to coach on Toronto.

I guess that Babs doesn't understand that he is in the entertainment industry. He must be old school and think the that goal is to win the cup. Sorry Babs, cup is only important if it creates increased profits. The real goal is for increased profits to players, management, or owner (depending on which pool you happen to sit in)
For some (ie their lawyers), the real entertainment is watching the 3 groups fight it out.

As a lifetime bureaucrat, one would assume that I would. I guess I am too jaded. Afterall, I am sure that govt was created as a way to reallocate wealth from the working class to the society elite - before the media took it over and then it became a reallocation from the working class to the person with the loudest voice.

Stefan Elliott on waivers again after Arizona picked up KConn.

While Elliott is not a perfect player, I do think he could fill Weber's shoes and still has some potential.

24 years old RH shot 6 pts in 19 games this season and -2.

Hopefully Benning grabs him if he gets the chance.
