Tampa and Florida back to back losses really hurt, playing Florida, Ottowa x2 and Boston all coming up, these are the big games. We really need a little lee way in the standings if we wanna not squeak in again this year

I completely agree. I personally don't care where we are in the playoffs, as long as we make it. And personally, I think I would rather face Florida in the playoffs, rather than Tampa or Boston. And I'd really not want to play Washington lol! I think this team is capable of beating any team in a 7 game series. Obviously they aren't favorites in all of them, but they have potential. But Washington and Boston I would really hate to play, in the east at least. Tampa is scary, but we outplayed them last year, we can again this year.

I don't know, Boston is doing better than last year and we are doing worse....

Boston just plays playoff style hockey to a tee, they can grind harder than arguably any team, except LA. But without Thorton and Lucic a littlt bit of their edge is gone for sure. But, Gus and Tats seem to dissappear when the play tightens up. If they aren't producing, hopefully Larkin can transition in and produce, because Pavel and Hank can't do it all. Mrazek could though.

It's true. Tampa was outplayed. Did Tampa deserve to win, yes. But a majority of the series was domination from the Wings. TJ being clutch saved you. And Babcock made Cooper look stupid. Or Cooper made Cooper look stupid, either way, Detroit was better coached. Again, completely fair series and the team that won, deserved it.
