I think you can get those players with some of the young guys we have. McGinn plays a hard game, but if he isn't producing points, he is an overpaid grinder. Let someone else take that risk.

I agree we kind of been a soft team all year if not Kaleta then bring in another knuckle head to throw it around a bit. Legwand brings nothing on the 4th line plus he played with moulson that has no value on 4th line all year. McGinn fought boll in preseason haven't seen anything else all year not worth 4 mil. How's nevins in Rocha look give him a sniff

Teams have somewhat smartened up on the open market. Everyone thought Franson would get a long term deal too. McGinn will get the standard 2 or 3 year deal all 3rd liners get at UFA.

I think they were referring to the NFL cap.

I am ok with Kaleta never playing for Sabres again. I would only want him on the team if he's going to be scoring you 7-9 goal range, which I'd highly doubt. We have younger more skilled players on the roster now who can do what he did.

Great guy, wish him the best. Just not with the Sabres.

Kaleta can't be called up...or so I thought, anyway.
