The first is incredible. The latter is very impressive, too, of course but this is the first year of 3-on-3 OT and it's kind of different animal because of all the extra space.

We can take a lot of pressure off Laughton guys. The Flyers struck gold in the third round of the 2012 draft.

And once Laughton becomes set as a scoring winger, I got a feeling he won't be looking so bad either

Raffl has been playing a great 2 way center. Laughton is playing to his strengths at wing. Read fills any gaps in. Now imagine when Gagner and Umby get their spots filled by Coots and Giroux

That third line is starting to be the one we all thought it would be when assembled. That's a legit NHL 3rd line that can score and check. Perhaps this is the death knell for the inflated use of the VDV line.
