He was a whipping boy here, but no one can say he didnt give it his all everytime he hit the ice. He was a "blue collar" player. Not flashy. But will be nice to see him win a cup now. Good luck Webby. |

I don't get how people think Legwand would get a bigger return than Weber. At this point in is his career Weber is a far better player (even if he is a 6th D). Legwand won't get a 4th. |

Legwand could get a similar return for a playoff team that needs help on the PK. He is pretty good on the PK and in his own end..... and how many guys score from there own end when there is a goalie in the net? |

If he was a bit better, I would have tried to re sign him. What will it cost for us to replace him ? |

Legwand is a defensively responsible player who is pretty good on the PK and half court buzzer beaters.. I think he could shore up a teams bottom 6 and improve their OK to help them feel better for a cup run. that should get you a 3rd if you also keep half his salary.. maybe a second if a team really really needs bottom 6 help |

I think there is the perception that because he is a crusty old veteran that he is worth something. Ottawa forced us to take him in a trade. I would think that there are much better players available, especially since there are so many sellers. He isn't even as good as Torrey Mitchel was last year. |

sabres are 10th in the nhl for pp
9th in nhl for pk
it's amazing with those numbers they are not even sniffing a top 8 seed in the east |

Lack of scoring.
Unfortunately we have a lot of "depth forwards" |

IMO Ruhwedel is just as good, and should be given a shot with the big club for the rest of the season |

TM has had successful talks in extending McGinn. The only way he will trade him is for a 2nd rounder + Prospects. |
