What would you say was your 3 stars and 3 left to be desired? I gather that one of the left to be desired would be AV changing effective lines.

Fluery is a sieve and should thank his defense for blocking so many shots against a team that refuses to shoot, criticism is deserved though Jan, this team doesn't resemble the teams of the past two years, some of it is on the players and some on AV

I can't believe they are 37-21, this season feels like a nightmare

Both the Isles and Devils come back to win and Smith-Pelley scores for the Devils while Staal barely sees the ice in the 3rd, just another day as a Rangers fan

Unsure there were three stars last night. After good first, regressed mildly in second and invisible in third. On to be desired was lineup configuration.

Criticism is warranted to an extent but not all is on AV

It was a bad game but the team is still like 12-5-1 in the last 18.

I think we seriously need Nash back though. Our offense doesn't seem too threatening.

hey, wassup fellas

was actually able to watch the first two periods on the plane home last night, really just a shame that Moore blew making the game 2-0 and then immediately after the Penguins blew up for those 3 goals. It's definitely a different game if Moore doesn't blow that. Hasn't he done that a few times lately? Shoot the effing puck Moore.

I didn't see the third, I am glad, sounds like it was pretty frustrating

Certainly not all on him but you touched on it with the line combos and in the 3rd especially, what did he see that made him keep those lines intact all game, Staal should be front and center, if he can't get 20 plus on adrenaline alone from going from a lottery team to a contender then I already question this deal, I still think Hank it's only about names when it comes to NY and it will always be that way

Pittsburgh went into a shell and instead of cracking it the Rangers were just the candy coating, maybe they had 1 scoring chance in the 3rd

the first thing I thought of when Marc Staal had the flu was that must mean Eric will get it, I saw the pics of them together at Casino night. It is strange that Eric only played 14:45 last night, maybe he was feeling it

I am not going to judge the trade after every single game. That's what we did after every loss after they acquired Martin St Louis and they ended up making the finals.

I was happy with what they gave up for Eric Staal. I think after what happened to Zucc last year, you have to assume some kind of injuries if you want to make a long playoff run and another top 6 forward was essential to add.

Now, if the Rangers go south and Eric Staal is a complete bust, I reserve the right to bash the organization for seeing something in him while they "extensively scouted him" the last two months.

Definitely still waiting to give the trade the benefit of the doubt though

My question is whether it was frustration at that moment, or is there something deeper going on w/ him, as far as what he feels about this NYR team!!? Hopefully, there isn't a rift forming!

He was pissed that play wasn't stopped. The one criticism I would have, beyond tossing net off mornings, was that if he was hurt, do what every other goalie does and stay down. That way play has to stop. When he got up, even if complaining and saying he was hurt, more difficult and unlikely refs stop play.

Ryan McDonagh's luck is unbelievable

he is the one he caused Lundqvist to be hit in throat with puck

he is the one whose slapshot literally almost killed Zucc

he is the one he ran over Lundqvist last night

It's frustration with the officials, he wanted the play stopped because he was stunned from the collision, he called to the official who looked at him and went up the ice, I think he's just had it with the lack of respect but of course he's vilified like he took out a player when it was just a (frank)ing net

I understand why he did it but it doesn't justify it for me.. if Fleury had done that down the other end we would be hammering him for being a baby

I'll say this and end it, if it were any other goalie in the league it would be "whatever" but because he's Hank, has a nickname and is a NY Ranger he gets crucified whether it's from Rangers fans or ignorant miserable trolls

That could have been ANY goalie in the league even a back up and it would be getting the news it is. I know I'm an Islander fan and you'll take this completely out of context but that was embarrassing to watch. I say that with the up most respect for the guy while knowing how great of a player he is along with what he has done in his career.
