If you watched the Kasdorf interview on Sabres.com you could tell the kid was just glowing with excitement. I couldn't even imagine what its like to finish your college career and end up with a big club for the remainder of a season.

Murray has a "Simple Plan"

Tim Murray want's to improve his top six to eventually parade down the streets of Buffalo with lord Stanley herself. Like the Canadian band Simple Plan, Murray may just have found that in his Alberta brotherans of the North. Peter Chiarelli is not happy with his all stars and want's a shake up. The team needs hearts and guts. Murray has just what they are looking for. A pure bread Latvian Locomotive steamroller. Gus would be just what the team is looking for. Someone to back up McDavid when the beasts of the west try and take shots on him and provide them with a blue chip leader for years to come. Murray should offer Girgensons to Chiarelli for Eberle their 2016 1st and Griffin Reinhart.
Chiarelli should jump at that offer and throw in free dinner at 716 for Murray and Bylsma everytime the Oil come into town. He'll not only be getting the future assistant captain but also a much needed nuclear dose of energy, grit and scoring touch to the team.
