Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Review / Game Day: Streak is Snapped, on to Anaheim Jannik Hansen's 20th goal of the year proved to be the game winner as the Vancouver Canucks snapped their nine-game losing streak with a 4-2 win in San Jose on Thursday. The Canucks now wrap up their quick road trip with a visit to Anaheim on Friday.

I liked Hutton last night, battled pretty hard around the net and just seemed to be a little more where he should be on the ice. Hopefully he can put a couple of the games together to end the season

Tryamkin looks like he will be a regular next season too, just needs to work on his conditioning. He looked gassed out there in the second period on the long change, but he is usually pretty good with his positioning.

I hope Pedan gets to play wing tonight over Weber.

I liked the part where Gagner said he was watching the college game on TV and was shocked when he realized it was little Chris Tanev who scored that goal and had to call Tanev's dad.

This is starting to sound like the argument of Kassian and Coho. In the end neither mattered. One is a cokehead and on his 4th team and the other is waived by 2 teams already and is not out of the league.
My point who cares right now. This is too small a sample size for either team. Wait for 5 years and then compare.
Also Canucks management knew that Shink was going nowhere with Canucks, so they turned an asset of no value to 1 with potential value. If it works then home run, if it does not then it is same as having Shink washed out of the system.

I said the exact same thing yesterday. Kassian VS Coho, Schneider vs Horvat, Sutter vs Bonino, now Shink vs Granlund. Its best to just leave the comments section and come back for Carol's next blog when people start to get excited and crazy.

It was one of the better games for the Canucks in awhile.

I was a bit nervous toward the end of the 3rd when they used the pp just to take time off the clock
