so even though only 2 of these three teams CAN actually make it, they all have an over 50% chance?

In a weeks time when two of the teams clinch: Team A - 100%, Team B - 100%, Team C - 0%. It's not exact, but divide the 200% up between the three teams. |

I wouldn't expect a Leafs fan to understand numbers considering how much you folks pay to see them play! |

Say what you want about us not being a shutdown team. Fact is that since the coaching change we've been good at limiting shot attempts against. Since the end of February we've been elite in this statistic. Isn't the definition of shutting a team down stifling their offense? We may not trap, and we may not play a passive brand of defense that collapses on the crease, but we're sure as hell shutting down offense. |

This brings up 2 things for me.
1: is murray real good or are the pens setting him up for success by doing most of the work for him?
2: Kuhn at first was not liked by many pens fans on this site. That is quickly changing and I'm very happy about that. |

No team in the East is even providing competition at the moment. Isles and Rangers have been bad, Caps are fading, Tampa is injured, Bruins and Redwings are just okay, Panthers and Flyers don't seem like serious threats to me.
To be honest I don't see the Pens winning for once playoff starts and everyone gets banged up and bruised, Pens will lose their speed. They don't have the size to "push" through 4 rigorous rounds. I'm guessing they either lose to Caps in rd2 or lose in the SCF. |

The penguins are already banged up and bruised. So if you're saying they'll lose more people to injury that's a bold guess or you don't know what you're talking about because the pens are doing great even with the banged up and bruised statues they already have. |

Calm down there, I'm refering to physical playoff hockey that usually results in players playing through broken bones to get through four rounds to win the cup. |

I think Murray really is that good. His stats at the AHL level were elite. Good work in lower levels doesn't always translate into the NHL level, but if you have good stats at all levels you've played, gotta assume he's the real deal until proven otherwise. |

I think the Flyers are spoilers for the 1st round. Could be the Panthers, could be the Caps. Mathematically it could be more, but I like the Flyers and Pens chances in the 1st round. |
