Great Article Carol.
Minus anything related to Tanbir... That guy is what every other franchise fan thinks ALL Canucks fans are like. He gives us a terrible name. |

Agreed. I thought this particular tweet was so extreme, it was worth noting as an example of some peoples' undying devotion to the Tank. Even Scooby seems even-keeled by comparison

Another excellent write up, thanks Carol. I liked Hanks comments about not to evaluate the team on these last few games. What a true leader this guy is |

But the real question is what does Virtanen think of Henrik's assessment? |

you could point to those idiots in toronto who would always get their hopes up since their team would win a bunch of games at the end of the season.
only to have them swallowed and shiite out by the team the next season. repeat.
every year, same situation. shiite team all year, then wins a bunch of games in the last month or so, hopes go up and then next season team shat them out...
that's what Hank is referring to... nux fans have to be realistic. we need more depth to accommodate the inevitable injuries or we will have the same situation as this season...
i'm not hoping the nux go 0-3 in the last three games, but at least get overtaken by at least one maybe two teams... aka the peg, flamers, and/or bjs... |

in case you missed this...
I do agree Toews is better then O Reilly, the others on the list are pretty accurate, but Toews didnt win the cups by himself, its a team game, individually, the talent of tavares, crosby, giroux, malkin, kopitar, stamkos pass Toews
- phyllee
o'reilly has done a great job in buffalo this season... unless someone's actually watched a game or two ( or more, which I have) of buffalo this season, that person won't appreciate what he brings to the club every night. |

Like Henrik said, teams are getting ready for the playoffs, being cautious not to get injured and definitely taking the Canucks lightly. I think thats what the most frustrating part is for the tank enthusiasts is that them winning these games is not reflecting how poor this team is. Like how Vancouver, with their roster this year including injuries, is higher in the standings than Calgary just leaves you shaking your head |

crosby, malkin, kopitar, bergeron, Tavares, Giroux, Stamkos, o'reilly are all individually > toews
- kaptaan
No, and to even suggest the last one is laughable.
-golfingsince
Tavares is severely underappreciated for how good he is. I would take him over Toews 100 times out of 100 |

Toes does a great job in Chicago every season, and for Team Canada when we go to the Olympics.
Unless someone has an extreme bias against Toews, they wouldn't even bother making the comparison. |

It's still a 200ft game, I'd take Toews. |

I'd take Tavares... Toes benefits from Hossa playing alongside him and it's Hossa's 200ft game that elevates that line more than anything that Toes does... |

And thats where I think Tavares is under appreciated. He has been playing on a much worse team, but his 200ft game is just as good as Toews and still had better offensive production. When he has a chance to play on Team Canada, he has shown his versatility |
