The Comets were really bad early but did pick up some steam late. They keep trying to out trap Albany and I don't think that will work for them. They are really lacking skill right now.

I wish now that Duthie was doing to host position instead of Strombo. He is much better suited, nothing against strombo as I really enjoyed his interviews on his old shows but doesn't fit in the hockey world.

It's a weak draft. This was the right year to tank. Playoffs next year

Okay, I think I figured out the CHL import draft.....not sure anyone else is interested as I seem to be talking to myself on this one but fo what it's worth.....

Each team in the CHL is allowed to pick 2 non NA prospects and all three leagues pick from the same pool of players (no catchment regions).

The team with the worst record picks first followed by the worst in one of the other 2 leagues from then on selection is based purely on records. Once a player is selected the team often has to pay the players European team to allow that player over.

It's all moot , Canucks are drafting top 6 and not taking Bean . He will probably go in top 15. Teams will be selecting Dmen in this draft but there are no stars that stand out.
