Thanks. Considering I have mostly been living off chips and chocolate bars on game days, I'm not going to feel too guilty about one meat dish. It is a pretty carnivorous culture here...

Sounds like an awesome trip so far! I had Moscow on my list of places to travel, but I will make sure to do St.P if I am ever over there!

On a side note: Brugge (or Bruges) is an awesome city, and the movie In Bruges is equally awesome

This mention of Keller will upset the HB balance.

He's a 8-12 pick IMO. No matter how good he was playing against 18 year olds. Tyson Jost was pretty good no one put him in the top 10?

I hope I'm not stepping on your toes, Carol and assumed you were not sharing the exact rankings because it is hidden behind the paywall.

Pronman's picks are usually different than the "consensus" but also has been right about many in the past.

FWIW Pronman's ranking goes as follows.

1. Laine
2. Mathews
3. Puljujarvi
4. Keller
5. Dubois
6. Tkachuk
7. Nylander
8. Juolevi
9. Jost
10. Fabbro

Actually, Pronman has Jost in the Top 10 now too.

I suspect that this is the first wave of the movement that we'll see as the final rankings get released in the coming weeks. Both those players showed extremely well in Grand Forks.

This city would go nuts if we drafted an undersized centre

I can here the Schroeder 2.0 referrals already

I definitely don't like Keller for our team but certainly don't think he is a bad prospect.

He is almost a full year younger than Mathews and if you compare their numbers side by side at the same age there isn't a huge gap there and while Mathews is obviously the better prospect, very few players ever have put up those types of numbers.

Mathews 164 in 84
Keller 144 in 85
Eichel 132 in 77

U18's
Mathews 15 pts in 7 games
Keller 14 pts in 7 games
Eichel 10 in 7 games.

Edit for Vantel including Schroeder.

53 in 55
5 in 7 games.

Thanks. NHL comparables for Laine- Ovechkin for Matthews- Kopitar. Just me but i'd rather have a selke trophy nominee and stanley cup winner over maurice richard trophy and art ross's and no cups.

There was that one time he willed us past Nashville. I get the dislike for Kesler but the guy was a beast for us.
