If the Blues lose this series it is just another let down to me. I don't care about getting this far blah, blah, blah this teams window is closing. And I don't care about participation trophies. This will go down as just another playoff failure. Sorry hate on me if you want. It is cup or bust in my eyes |

Oh dear, you call yourself a fan? You should be proud of your team this year there playing there butts off for your city. San Jose is a very good team and you should realise there can only be one team to win the cup, one!! Lmao cup or bust..... isin't this the Blue's first western confrence finals? |

They get paid plenty to "play their butts off". Just because we expect a Stanley Cup after not having one in 50 years of existence doesn't make us any less of a fan. |

Good write up Jammer
I am so nervous for tonight
I expect a better effort
To the guy that defended Wingels in the last blogs comments
Come on man? Really? You think Wingels is worthy of a roster spot? He should have been kicked out of two games at least in this series.
He dangerously checked Fabbri from behind and he jumped in to Shattenkirks head.

Great moments come out of difficult situations. Down 3-2 in the series, facing elimination and going back into enemy territory where they're ready to party - this is where highlight DVD's are birthed.
I fully expect to have a game 7 here in two nights. I won't put a post-script on the Blues season until it's actually over. As of right now, they are one of four teams still playing.
What has this series been missing (other than 91)?
Overtime.........

We have Brouwer. That almost guarantees us a game 7, right?
Please be true, I'm not ready for this to end. |

Time to be honest with us Carcus. Admit it. You went out and purchased an 91 sweater, didn't you? You or one of your clan.
That's the only explanation as to why his game has gone the way of Brad Boyes........

Nope.
My mom has one, but has had it for almost 2 years now.
I am not the cause of his disappearance any more than you are the cause for the Blues bad luck....

It's do or die time, have to look under every rock for answers.
Carry on.
And there's no such thing as luck. (I knew you were waiting for that.)

He seems to have been disinterested since the birth of his son. Obviously he has more on his mind these days but I wonder if that wife of his is behind any of it. Somebody needs to convince her to get behind her man.

He needs a stick upside his head if that's the reason. As if no hockey player ever has had the birth of a child in-season. He's the first.
It'd be different if he were skating and hitting and back checking and contributing elsewhere, but he's been floating debris. Giving line mates the stink-eye when they pass him the puck while he's gazing into the air and not paying attention to anything in particular.

Just tell Tarasenko that they are playing the Blackhawks tonight. He'll score at least 4. |

A lot of people have been giving Tarasenko a hard time. He likely has gone through a lot with the birth if his first son.
Tarasenko has been the heart and soul of the Blues for years now, including the playoffs. He was the only guy we could count on to score for a long time. He has a bad series and people start jumping on him. All players go through bad stretches. Bad timing for us, but still hopeful he can push through it.
Don't throw him under the bus, it only says something about you when you are willing to dump on a player that has been so good for the franchise because of a couple of bad weeks.
Sorry, stepping off my soap box now. |

I actually give a lot of credit to the sharks for his poor performance
They are all over him as soon as he gets the puck
He never has much space and maybe he should look to pass more when three guys converge on him
I will take Tarasenko over pretty much everyone else in the NHL
For sure

Cut the touchy-feely crap, Nancy. It's the playoffs.......
He deserves to be dumped on. As I said, if he were working on the other parts of his game, I wouldn't be trashing him, but he was easily the worst player on the ice on the other night.
the Blues have never played this far into May. They haven't been to this point in the playoffs in thirty years. They may not get this close again in the near future. If your best player can't be your best player now, that's on him.
And if you want to rip on someone whose calling him out, you can start with his coach who's done so twice now publicly in so many words.

I'm "that guy."
And for a team who puts Steve Ott on the ice, that's essentially the same thing given the stuff he pulls....
And again, Shattenkirk LEVELED Wingels last game, you would have thought that would have pacified you (I thought that leveled the playing field), but the guy's a 4th liner, plays with grit, scores some goal (yes he does have some skill - he wouldn't be in the NHL if he didn't) and gets the job done. Are you saying you'd hate to have him on your team?
As far as the dangerous checks, they happen every game, there were non-calls both ways in that regard. |

3 words: Marc Edouard Vlasic.
He did the same to Toffoli in rnd 1 & to Forsberg in the 2nd round. |
