Doesn't really matter where the combine is. It isn't really a fan event anyway. As a fan, I would rather a draft be held in my city. Or an All-Star Game. Or a WJHC. Or a Memorial Cup or an Outdoor game . Pretty much every NHL or Hockey related event is more interesting than the combine.

the sabres have no leverage. this event goes on with or without the sabres. do the sabres have more to offer,no doubt. still doesn't give you leverage at all imo.

Been to Harbor centre Facility which is right next to The First Niagara center and Hotels and restaurants ? Pretty special facility. No set up like in the league . It makes the combine run really smooth! . What Toronto Hate? Build a similar facility next to Air Canada centre and I am sure Toronto gets the combine back .

Who said anything about the money ? It is the prestige of having the event . They are also getting lots of USA Hockey events there. The Harbor Center is an amazing facility . The Pegulas have really helped rebuilding downtown Buffalo . Something for folks to take pride in . Just got named the #1 Vacation destination In america this year. The waterfront has really become a place to go. Like Edmonton Hosting the Grey Cup even if they are not in it. Just like Edmonton will have pride in their new facility next year. And they should be proud.
