Same from me! Happy solstice people. I'm worried we won't be able to see the moon much, it won't really get dark this far north this time of year |

The moon was amazing here in Vancouver last night. Very bright. I think tonight might be cloudier, but we'll see...

I'm sure glad Benning moved Garrison to get the 2nd round pick used to acquire Vey. What great asset management. Garrison played as TB's #3 this season & #4 last & when with the Canucks. Whoever thought a top 4 NHL Dman could be had so cheap on a decent contract.
Put me & the Canucks out of my misery & fire Benning now. Take Desjardins & Linden with him. Include Acquilini with all of them well at it. Can we fire an owner?
Thankfully I'm keeping my 10K spent on seasons tickets for essentially the last 25 years. Why pay 10K for 2 seats annually when I can get them for free or 12.50 on the street & only go to games I wish to. Which moving forward is ZERO. Or at least until they clean house in management.
I can't think of a single GM that has mismanaged assets so poorly as Benning, Ever! Give me Mike Milbury he makes Benning look dumb no easy feat as Milbury is my #2 worst all time GM. |

Garrison a top 4 dman
I always appreciate your biweekly cry fest on here. The top two moves Benning has made since taking the team over are ridding the team of Garrisons NTC albatross of a contract and removing a whiney female dog like You from the fanbase |

Mike Milbury destroyed a guy with this shoe, a franchise with his trades and a couple of stations with his tirades

I really hope JB resigns Etem. He definitely can be a solid 3rd line winger in the nhl. |

Strikers post is silly, but Garrison is a a top 4 D on most teams and it certainly isn't an albatross contract
I get that you feel the need to defend Benning and it was understandable that he felt he needed to clear cap space but he sold pretty low.
The fact that Vey had the same value as a top 4 D is worthy of criticism and it's probably a pretty reasonable debate whether the cap space was better spent on Garrison over Miller. |

I'm not defending Benning. The Vey trade was poor. I just think Garrison blows and we were lucky to unload the contract. He is a highly paid 15 point offensive defenseman ( ) with an elastic band for a groin. |

My exact feelings.. I liked the trade for a 2nd.. Don't like what it turned into.. But I was never a fan of Garrison, hard shot that can't hit crap and cinder blocks for feet |

I still think you are grossly undervaluing him if you think we were lucky to unload the contract.
It's amazing that he has been able to avg 29 pts a season and play in 85% of the games + 100% of the playoffs over the past 5 years, considering he has that elastic band for a groin..... |

I thought Garrison had a limited ntc so the options of trading partners was limited.
If it is any consolation, at least he didnt pull a Vrbata and give a bogus list of trading partners |
