Lecavalier Says Goodbye.
First off, we take a quick break from rumors as it really needs to be noted that Vinny Lecavalier has announced his retirement. I never met a classier individual than Lecavalier, and I knew hi best from what must have been the hardest time in his career...his brief time in Philly... He showed that he could still play and contribute last year when he was moved to LA and I am sure this day is extra tough for the competitor and first ballot Hall-of-Famer that Lecavalier has become.. The NHL won't be the same without his class and elegance.

They lost Ryan Miller, they went through a rebuild. They haven't been to the playoffs in six (frank)ing years!.
Their GM turned out to be a user, a cheater, and now they're going through a rebuild. All you people care about is.. readers and making money off of them.
THEY'RE HUMAN BEINGS! (ah! ooh!) What you don't realize is that the Sabres are making you all this money and all you do is write a bunch of crap about them.
They haven't performed well on ice in years. They're goal song is called "let me clear my throat" for a reason because all you people want is MORE! MORE-MORE, MORE: MORE!.

AS much as i would like to see Stamkos in buffalo, the Numbers being thrown out there of 12MM a year are too rich for my blood.
That would put Buffalo in a huge cap crunch in a few years.
