Actually, I'm glad he's staying in Tampa. Toronto needs to try to keep building the way they are. I don't think Stamkos could have lived up to the ridiculous expectations in TO.

I thought he wanted to play near Toronto. I thought Pegula was going to give him $12 million? I thought he wanted to play with the bestest young core of Jack and Samson.

Don't worry , Sabres still have the next Patrick Kane in Reinhart Now sit back and watch them over pay for Okposo just to save face. Oh well.... Just start tanking now for next year and try again. How long until we hear Tavares wants to play with Reinhart and Eichel?? Don't worry though cuz Rochester is full of gems!

How is anybody from Montreal laughing at Buffalo about anything? They chose to keep a mediocre coach over one of the top5 defensmen in hockey, Shea Weber is nice, but he is also on the down side of his career.
I don't recall anybody ever calling Reinhart the next Patrick Kane, it would be nice if he was, but he will be a very good player and I for one am happy to have him on my team.
Pegula might have (probably did) throw $12 million on the table for Stamkos, But you can't make the guy take it. It seems to me Stamkos just decided that it was more important to try and finish the job they started in Tampa and left a substantial amount money on the Table and for that I will tip my hat to Stamkos because far to often there is no loyalty to teammates or organizations.

The Habs won that trade hands down! Just ask the people that put together team canada. I can't wait to see the panic moves made now by the tanking champs

He didn't leave any money on the table. Lets stop with that. Florida state taxes are much lower and 8.5 over 8 years in Florida is the same net income as if he signed for 12.5 in Buffalo.

The next move of the most talented and successful GM of all time is to bring in the equally talented Griffin Reinhart. griffin of course is the older bro of future star Samson. Not only are those two brothers. But they are also BFFs and that matters in Pelugaville.
I love reading, now that E Kane is in trouble again, he has now become murrency. he has now become the dirtbag many have been saying he was for years. No doubt he will be headed to the Ducks because their MURRAY has an apparent love affair with high paid, underachieving Lefthand shooting forwards. No doubt a package of Moulson, Kane and Ennis will meet this need. Fowler and and 1st will no doubt be headed in the other direction because GMTM ALWAYS GRYS HIS MAN
