Vesey's line-mate (Criscuolo) has nearly-identical stats as Vesey at Harvard:

Year 1: 13pts (in 22gms) vs 18pts (in 27gms)
Year 2: 20pts (31in gms) vs 22pts (in 31gms)
Year 3: 48pts (in 37gms) vs 58pts (in 37gms)
Year 4: 32pts (in 34gms) vs 46pts (in 33gms)

Of course, Vesey's are a bit better, but they are still pretty close. They both followed the same trajectory at Harvard, and have similar skill levels.

And, Criscuolo hasn't been worth a 7th round draft pick for 4 years now. Yet, Vesey is talked about as the 2nd coming?

Isn't Russ the same guy who claimed handball isn't a sport and was invented for the olympics. He seems like such a credible guy! Not at all close minded or anything

I know they are two different sources, but how can the opinion on one player be so significantly apart and different? 30 goals in NHL compared to not even 20 in the AHL is just baffling imo.

He is one of the most overrated prospects to come in the league since justin schultz.

Its absolute BS he won the hobey baker both connor and boeser had better seasons as rookies. Vessey shouldnt have even been nominated.

The league has to close this loop hole. Its terrible, he should have just signed in nashville. His decision not to is just odd, the team is set up to be a contender for years especially once they add a couple more forwards.
