While it's better to be cautious with any projections, he has posted better numbers than Oesterle did while seeming to play a comparable game and having a bigger frame (6' 183lbs Vs 6' 203lbs). If he can take the sorts of steps Oesterle has, he could be a solid bottom pairing guy on the cheap.

I honestly can see Oesterle pulling something similar. He was playing great hockey at the end of last year when he was forced into playing WAY higher than he should've been. A bottom pairing of Oesterle and one of Gryba or Fayne could really be solid. Then maybe run Klefbom- Davidson (they had strong numbers together) and Sekera- Larsson (Sekera best duplicates Greene's skillset).

If they can add Benning and perhaps another RHD like Sproul then the depth chart would look a lot more balanced.

Klefbom, Sekera, Davidson, Oesterle, Nurse, Reinhart, Simpson, Musil, Laleggia, Jones, and Niemelainen as LHD

Larsson, Fayne, Gryba, Sproul, Benning, Bear, and Berglund as RHD.

I like the idea of Sekera with Larsson but the Klefbom/Davidson pair gives me pause. Not a lot of experience between the two of them at the NHL level.
Its still better than Klefbom/Nurse, Klefbom/Fayne or any other combo a person can up with however.
