I loved the Kessel tweet. I do like that most hockey players are humble, but at the same time they should be allowed to have opinions and call others out when they have CLEARLY screwed up.
I think most people that are calling out Kessel are doing so because of the mentality that you shouldn't call out or turn on your team. Just because Kessel is from USA doesn't mean he is part of the team. They didn't pick him. He does not fall under that unwritten rule and is well within his rights as an interested observer to criticize the makeup of team USA.
I think all the people involved in that team that got angry at Kessel were mostly just happy to have a scapegoat they could try to turn attention towards so people would stop focusing on every idiotic decision team USA made during this tournament. It's called misdirection.
Don't focus on us, be angry at Kessel for being a big meanie!
