Very enjoyable game last night.

Nice to see Okposo get on the board early. Sabres need to get Ennis going. Him on a line with D-Lo, and Grant isn't working. Maybe he will get put with Baptiste in Calgary if he plays.

Of note, O'Reilly's four points were the most in a game in his career and he did it in his 500th NHL game.

I think you're going to see a lot of "Jekyll and Hyde" this season, especially these first couple of months.

they executed to a "t" last night...and thanks to a couple of key saves by Lehner, they were able to control the ice for most of the game.

I think you're going to see a lot of "Jekyll and Hyde" this season, especially these first couple of months.

Terrible game for the Oil. Was a thoroughly winnable game and they just played flat.

The Sabres played like they took it seriously and they deserved the points.

Now we get to see if this team IS tuning a corner and win their next game against an opponent they should be able to win against, or is it the same team and they let losing take over.

Wow good for the Sabres! A real team effort, a couple of you guys mentioned that getting away from the doom and gloom might just be what they needed ,and I mentioned if they can stay 5 hundred til the guys get back they'll be able to scratch at that playoff spot!it speaks volumes of a team that faces adversity, to pull off a big win ,hopefully then can keep it rolling! There's not single piece of evidence that would suggest he's anything less than amazing and if you say total points that's just short sighted. His defensive play directly translates into offensive chances the other way and he doesn't get the offensive opportunities there with fowler and vatanen getting the easy offensive zone starts and power play minutes

After reading the Oilers blog from yesterday, I'm really proud of your guys for that win ,makes it much more,satisfieing! I like the Oilers,but man its like when matthews scored 4,it was great but jasus settle down please, they beat calgary and it's cup time!and Tyler 49 you had some good post in their!

You take Henderson way to seriously.

He is the guy that went completely off the rails with the Hall trade. Drowned the internet in his tears.

Okposo, O'Reilly, and Ristolainen were very good. Reinhart was solid.

Oilers were a disaster though. Especially Talbot. That Molson goal and the center ice goal were awful.

And holy moly, they traded Hall for Larsson.
