Well that was a hell of a third period...glad I didn't turn the TV off. As slow as their starts have been these Flyers have a lot of fight in them.

It was the Flyers' 3rd game in 4 days.

It was Buffalo's 1st game in 4 days.

I'm gonna go ahead and go with "relieved".

I am berry berry happy right naw, but there are still lingering issues this season that have popped up in every game, going back to last season even. It's tough to get consistency when your bottom 6 is a mess and your PK is among the worst in the league. They aren't hard fixes if you identify the issues, but the coaches seem reluctant to identify them b/c they reflect poorly on some of their favorites.

I just saw it. Vlasic scores a breakaway that Pavelski pretty much had nothing to do with. I'm not even sure how he got an assist. Must've grazed the puck somewhere. He pretty much did nothing and you know it

go read Garth the idiots blog..that hack is trying to defend the hit...he is the worst writer on this site....that being said what a come back...imagine what they could do if they played 60 minutes....they were lucky to come out with the win tonight the way they played thru the 1st and 2nd period..but resilience paid off they got the win

Loved the result but hated the way they got there.

-I think it's time to drop Vandevelde. I know the comfort factor but he brings nothing.

- Cousins needs to get back to center. Bellemare should be 4th line center. Maybe this happens when Weise and Raffl are back.

- Neuvirth is playing himself out of a contract right now.

- Simmonds needs to bring more. Seems to be a little out of control lately.

- Glad Schenn scored but haven't seen much of the caged tiger like he said he would be.

- Streit(even after scoring), MacDonald and Schultz could have a revolving door to the suite. I thought MacDonald was terrible last night.

I think this sums it up perfectly. One of those games where you'll happily take the results and are pleased with the resolve, but the process before that point, was not very good. Before the 3rd period, the Flyers generated little offensive pressure, and we're outplayed again, for most of the game.

When you DVR the game, utilize the auto-extender feature so you dont miss any of it if it goes late, and then watch the replay only to have it stop recording with 7 minutes remaining in the game.
