@regulate it irks me that a guy like Bizz or Herr, who are not signed to the Kings and are not prospects, would get ice time over a Kings prospect, as marginal of one as he may be.

the other lines are playing pretty well, and king's presence isn't sinking opps for 11/73 at this point. i suppose you could sit him for purcell, but the downsides of king are already known at this point.

winning 3 games in a row, i doubt sutter makes a change with his beloved king...

He wouldn't be there if Lombardi had acquired some kind of replacement for Lucic. That's what I keep going back to. Fun fact: 4 of the 5 July 1st additions haven't worked out at all. Gilbert is the only one who's been at least decent and is still in the lineup.

I'm curious why he sat for the first two games. Is he considered to be lower on the depth chart than twelve other forwards in Ontario? Or was there an injury or something like that going on?

I think it is mainly because he is new. He is pretty talented and has proven to be a semi-capable goal scorer in the KHL as well. Think it was just a seniority thing for the first few games.

I don't know man, the team seems to be scraping by with these wins.

I really think that King is not helping much on that line and Brown just isn't even close to being productive as well.

How he still gets power play time is beyond me.

King will be off the top line when Gaborik returns. In the meantime, you get to choose between Dwight King, Dustin Brown, Teddy Purcell, and Kyle Clifford. Take your pick.

Brown has been good in his last 4 games. Him and Dowd look good together. I'd like to see King on this line once Gaborik is healthy again.
