That used to be the case for sure, small cities with owners more interested in profit than going all out. We now have an owner who wants to win above all. It's going to take time because Buffalo has a very bad reputation as a place to play, and that won't change easily. We need to get and keep a top flight coach next, and Mr. Pegula has been trying. Ralph Krueger to Sabers, Bill Cower to Bills.

Ryan O'Reilly was having a very mediocre season (Injury probably the reason)
Maybe there won't be a huge drop off |

Yes Dan Bylsma over coaches his team. This is why Girgensons looks like poop right now, this is also why we keep seeing different line combinations from game to game and honestly it pisses a lot of people and players off. Now it's one thing to change lines because of injury or your losing and need a different look. Its totally another to be changing lines daily.
Honestly I never really liked Bylsma because his he over-coaches players. I would rather see a new Coach in Buffalo that does not over-Coach his players and lets them play to the best of their abilities. Yes you need a system, yes you need some level of structure in a hockey game, but there is a fine line there and Bylsma over does it vs Nolan who did none of it. |
