It's pretty simple.

Our D is atrocious. And we don't have the firepower to play that game. As much as I love ROR and Okposo, they are not point a game players, which is amazing considering how good they are.

I don't think he scored 14 goals his entire Sabres career.

Edit: He only played 8 games for us. I feel like he played more. He had a good year in Portland, but last year was his first year in the NHL he scored more than 7 goals.

And considering all the hoopla around Eichel, he should be a point a game player already. All this noise for a 65pt guy?

Sam Reinhart appears to be a reach at 2', how much better would everyone feel with Draisatl? I liked Sam and was sold too, but the truth is the Sabres had to pick Hom as the safe play, in case they did NOT get either Eichel or McDavid.

All his numbers are up except assists, and that's on the team's absolutely terrible SH%. He's shooting almost 3% more than the team.

This is true. He has shown flashes, I don't watch any Flames games to tell you what his problem is, but they seem to have a top line and 3 3rd lines. I dunno.
