Blashill says, referring to Nyquist " When he doesn’t move his feet from the tops of circles to the top of circles he’s not quite as effective".....friggin Brilliant !
Blashill also thinks the wings could have been better ......Dah! Outshot 28-12 in the first two periods......Ya think Sherlock !
This guy couldn't motivate a fish to swim, never mind a hockey team to win. Then there's Callahan who was scratched last night after a picosecond of ice time the night before. Let's call him up from GR to be a bench warmer, so we can totally destroy his confidence. Blashill is a JOKE......tic tock tick tock.....your time behind the Detroit bench is on the clock. I wonder if Badcock would like Blashill as an assistant in Toronto....I think NOT.

It's about freakin' time Russo finally got called up... good grief. He should have gotten a call-up last season just to see what he can do. He's probably the best offensive defenseman the Griffins have had in about 5 years I'd say. He has multi-point nights on a regular basis down here which is impressive for a defenseman. He's 24 years-old. Now is the time to see what he can do.

He's got 31 points in 56 games so far this year and +14. So he's on a better pace than last season. He's only going to get better. Last season he was 39 points in 71 games with an astounding +40 (that was the best in the AHL if I remember right).
