I hope that Panarin has the same kind of ability to score goals in the playoff as he did to earn his secondary performance bonus. Last year vs the Blues missed a couple of wide open nets.

Mr Toews has been playing at the next level since February, I know you need depth, we go as far as the Captain takes us since line 2 will get the top defenseman each night.

the key player for a hawks playoff is.........the big russian AA....for

proper line slotting
net presence and screens
the glue for 88 and 72
a big body

he needs to stay healthy and play well

BTW one stat I would like to see is the hawks FO% on the first drop on the PK and PP...

I swear its seems they lose 75% of these....constantly chasing a clear after the 1st FO or the zone set-up on the PK...

I got Hawks in either a sweep or five games. I don't think Nashville presents a huge challenge if we are healthy and fired up to play. I think the Montreal/New York series will be the best of the first round series. Hoping to catch some of those games.

Anyone else cheering for Edmonton today? Much better first round imo if Edmonton plays Calagary and San Jose plays the Ducks.

I like the 'Hawks versus Nashville in this series. I hope it's done in 6 games or less.

Rasmussen has been looking good to my eyes on the PK. I therefore hope he gets slotted on L4.

Question on Black Aces--- How many players can they roster as Black Aces--- and any guesses who they might be?

I'd like to see some bigger body players come up (except Manpoopter) also center depth in Latta-- or has he disappeared-- What happened to the 'gritty' Lundberg?

Forsling - Svedberg - Pokka ??

Do they carry a 3rd goalie just in case? Johannsson?

If we actually use any of these guys-- except maybe Forsling--- its likely not a good sign-- Any thoughts?

Can't cheer for EDM. Already sick of the hype for them and for the Leafs. Also, want all potential Hawks opponents as tired and beat up as possible so I like the longer travel of ANA / CGY and SJS / EDM. Also think those matchups will be pretty good ones.
