So you think they have been playing better, the Oil have been on fire to end the season, but the unicorn stats say otherwise so that is the be all, end all of how they are doing? Maybe, just maybe, the fantastical stats don't tell the whole story.

Wow, pretty ignorant and short sighted. The stats clearly show that McDavid and Talbot are effecting others in a positive way. Better hope that their positives continue to outweigh Russell's negatives. Could be a quick postseason otherwise. I like your odds against San José, but to completely ignore the stats is just stupid.

Short sighted? You only mention Russell, the article was clearly about Sekera and Russell. You state completely ignore, I said "maybe they don't tell the whole story". I suppose I shouldn't expect very much logic from someone who paid for a free website.

Good goalies and elite players generally have a positive effect on their team.

Stats are nice to pay attention to. Give a different perspective on the game, but to put too much faith in them is just stupid.

Add in those two and that makes for a lot of sucking going on this blog.

It was a bad trade!!! The Oilers still would have made the playoffs, with 103 points, had they kept Hall, and not signed Russell...because I predicted it!!!
