If Q did become available, I would think that Dan Byslma would then become available. Money isn't an issue for Murray.

I get this feeling that Makar might slip, just due to the fact that some of the teams picking where he is set to go often don't draft college students in 1st round.

Ive read a few teams in the top 5-6 would draft makar or liljegrin 1 or 2(Arizona, Avs) obviously not sure if its true but would be great for us if we say pick 3rd could still get nico or nolan.

No doubt he has the offensive skill set but the rest of his game needs to tighten up.
Conacher was pretty bang on.
Engage more & better D by skating harder & not floating so much.

That is hard to believe the hawks got shutout in 2 games at home with all that skill. Grit and goaltending rule in the playoffs, the only professional sport where skill takes a backseat when it matters.

Thanks Carol...I totally agree that the Canucks need a better defensive system, they can still lose but they have to play a better structural game with a new coach. Quenneville would be sweet!!! I doubt he'd choose Vancouver though.
