So sick of the Ranger hate. One of the winningest teams over last few years and same crappy predictions. Pitt lost key members including MAF, added a goon, a journeyman defenseman and a crap goalie and they'll win division? Isles added 1 guy for Hamonic, and that propels them past Rangers? Maybe I'm biased, but Rangers and Canes are easily most improved teams in Met. Isles, Pens and Caps are worse off this year while I think Jackets are about same.

I think what it really illustrates is how up in the air this division is this season. While I will say the Rangers window may be closing, they seem to always be right there, and as long as Hank is Hank, they have a shot.

Its hard to argue where he has Philly, and a lot depends on bounceback seasons from Giroux and also seeing how well the myriad of rookies in the lineup will fare. Lindblom, Patrick. Morin, Hagg, and even possibly Sanheim. Will they be the Leafs of last season, or will it be more likely another year or so before they start to make serious noise.

You forgot the main reason that Ottawa should be worse this year; Methot is gone.

So basically right now we have an average team just like last year we needed to add more talent in the summer at the forward position in my opinion that was the huge struggle last year with jack
