Got nothing....

But you sound surprised???

Thought he had a good game, the penalties were tough but both were new rule changes, he was fast on his skates and hard on the forcheck, also he didn't blow his shots around the net back to our end at all.

I mean this is sort of a double edged sword with kane. He was fine overall, but id move him before paying him the whatever millions he wants

He took two dumb penalties. why is that so hard to admit?


He had a typical Kane game. he took alot of shots, and some stupid penalties. 10/10 would not pay like a first liner. thats all

I'd rather Kane was a bit more selective with the shots he takes. I get the philosophy that says you need to take a shot in order to score, but sometimes shooting isn't the best play in particular scenarios.

Overall, I didn't really notice him a ton. I noticed Jack a lot, Pommer (so glad he's back), Risto, and Antipin a few times.

The rest of the team just seemed to do their job. Minus the two pretty major gaffe's (the ROR giveaway and the SHG), they played a solid game. Which is what we need to see consistently.

They called slashing on one of the Mtl players too though. So it's not like he got the only one in the game.
