Ben Case: Hurricanes Look To Stay Perfect With Blue Jackets In Town The Carolina Hurricanes enter their second game with momentum following a thrilling OT win in front of a sellout crowd last Saturday. Tonight they are set to face the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first match-up the Hurricanes will have against a Metro division opponent this season – surprisingly, this will be the only Metro team the Hurricanes will play until the two meet again on November 10th for the Hurricanes’ 14th game this season.

Korpisalo in net for CBJ instead of Bob. Gotta take advantage of that if possible.

This one will be a good measuring stick for the Canes'. Tighten up that D and continue the shot barrage will go a long way. Should be a good one.

This certainly is more favorable than Bob. However, Korpisalo looked good in his start last year against Carolina. I think he is one of the better up and coming goalies. Not Bob, but certainly one of the more skilled back-ups in the league.

Lots of good early tests this year for them with tough early schedule. Should be a fun game to watch tonight.

Surprised they switched Kuokkanen and Williams again. I thought the TT-Rask-Kuokkanen line in second and third was outstanding.

Left wing lock and a few others don't have it up. Rotowire has it confirmed though.

Believe it was Portzline who reported Korpisalo starting, but would have to check again.

Agreed on the Williams/Kuokkanen thing. That kid is going to be a player.
