It's funny. During the Boston game on Saturday, Andy Brickley of the Bruins broadcast made a reference to "I know it's been a long time, but back when the Sabres were good, they used to do this all the time" in reference to a play the Bruins made.

Who knows, by the time we play the Leafs, things may be quite different.

Chances are we will still be inconsistent but maybe not as sucky. Maybe we will magically trade for 2 top-4 Dmen and get scoring from lines 2-4. Maybe we will play the part of playoff spoilers (woo-hoo). Maybe I'll quit drinking.
