I'm not as morose as that. Actually, I might be the exact opposite of that. I like the Sabres, but there are very few of you that I like. Pach is #1 on the "like list".

We continue to overlook the fact that building a winning franchise in the modern NHL requires much more speed than we have. We look so slow. Watch other games from around the league. Passing is crisp, transition is quick from defense, speed and stickhandling is brilliant. We are the worst by far in all of the above and none of our forwards know how to forecheck to boot. It's a recipe for disaster.

yeah it's not enough to be fast skating. Gotta think fast, pass fast and accurate. I like what Housley is going for, but you need much better passing than what's currently happening.
