You missed Stafford. In practice, I believe boyle was third line center with zacha scratched. Would still prefer gibbons boyle Coleman as 4th. Rico zacha wood and bratt nico Stafford as other lines.

That's a pretty strong line up offensively.... who do we give up for some defensive help and who do you think is available?

Honestly, I would really like to solidify that top 4 D and get a guy like Hjalmarsson off a dead team like AZ. It may cost us players like Wood and prospects...but honestly I can't believe in Wood long term to be top 6 guys with how this roster is being built. He'll have greater chance to be impact player elsewhere.

As I wrote this I also looked at what other teams need goals and on the cheap....
Oilers rank dead last in GF and NJ is 4th.... What a world....

Yeah I like that lineup better then what I posted. Totally forgot about Stafford. I'd just hate to scratch Coleman bc he's great on the PK, on the forecheck, has great speed, and decent on faceoffs. Regardless this lineup will be ridiculously deep when everyone, hopefully, is healthy.

1) Maybe keep Noesen and try to send him down to the Bing. I think they'd have to decide who's a better keep, him or Hayes.
2) This looks like there are only two forwards who were part of the organization before Ray Shero (Zajac and Henrique). I think Wood, Coleman and Zacha were drafted while Lou Lams was here but still, it's a remarkable amount of change.

I feel there are enough defensive forwards on the team to leave Noeson off the list, but maybe throwing someone like Hayes in front on PPs could help. I really don't care much which of those two stay.

Agreed, to the oil or pens, both would overpay. I've been saying that all year. Henrique has offense talents that would really boost either team.
