Add Kassian to the list of players taking lots of bad penalties. Starting to see why other teams have given up on him, occasional moments of greatness, but lacking consistency. Seeing lots of bad puck management by our D in our own zone, as well as lots of terrible passing. Ugh.
Sure we could trade the Nuge for some D, but that creates more holes in our offense. I know lots of people think RNH is crap but he is actually scoring this year and is stronger defensively this year than before. Is Strome a 2nd line centre? nope. Move Drai to 2nd line, then who plays RW with McJesus? Sure we could move Drake Caguilla up to 1RW but he doesn't have the scoring prowess that is needed for that role.
So many frustration. |

And nobody has mentioned the coach , We suffered for years with Todd , being one of the favorites to win the cup . Only to watch him make bad coaching decision's ,and going out early in playoff's. First year without, we go to game#6 in the finals .
He rode Babcock's shirttails for years before coming to San Jose .Oiler fans will see, He Makes bad decisions under pressure . |

Wouldn't have traded all the talent on the team at 20cents to the dollar. (Chairelli is famous for that)(I hated him since he got wasted in the Hall deal) |

Another problem is they still employ the stink of the Old Boys Club... Lowe and MacT are still around in the periphery- they didnt do a complete clean and it takes more than 2 years to rid yourself of 11 years of stink... Hiring Chia was a left field and very reactionary/desperate move - it appears now that they were looking for anyone with history on their... Same with coaching... Instead of keeping Todd Nelson who was in the system- again they reacted and used an inflated resume without analyzing details... |
