Honestly, I have been shelving the Sabres during the World Juniors since the tournament was last here in 2011. I watched Canada-Sweden over the game the other night.

I was too. That was a great day that turned depressing real fast.

In two series' against Laviollette in a span of four years, he played musical goaltenders like it was Super Mario Brothers in 1992, and still won both series'.

I haven't turned on ESPN pregame show in a long time. I tuned in as they were doing a piece on McDermott work at building a team....back to the hostess who then asks for ol' Rexy's opinion on what McDermott has done this year improving Buffalo. That was pretty funny.
I wonder if the Bills might tip their cap to Cincy and do the Ickey Shuffle in the end zone today. Hopefully several times.
