I really don't think there should be any wondering. It's blatantly obvious. Get rid of the guys that can't or won't fall in line.

Or certain guys who aren't in the line up were refusing to play the system? And with out them our the team is gelling?

It's a shame, because before Christmas, Kane was always a guy who left it all on the ice, all the time no matter what. Leading up to the deadline, he knew he was going to get traded (he knew all year) and he just played to protect himself. And in turn, indirectly, the team. So be it.

Not sure how to sum up the lack of Eichel. If this team is shifting it's focus from attacking to defense first, it's because of the lack of firepower without those two in the lineup.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend not having Eichel is better for this team, I even hate myself for writing it. But this team needs to take a different attitude into next season and act like Eichel isn't the only way the team will score.
