I saw him play three times live, and he battled hard for everything he got...didn't have a lot of help, but he's definitely does things that will translate well to the nhl

Seriously. I don't understand his point.

ROR's production at both ends doesn't total up and match his salary, not even close. And that's not including the back injury that may have a longer impact than we realize.

If you can get good value for him in the offsesaon, why wouldn't you do it?

I don't feel like entering an honest debate about ROR because it's tiring. However, I do trade him if the trade makes this team better in the short and long term. That includes not having a vacuum at 2C.

I'm actually excited for the game Thursday.

For now.

Hopefully he won't be slotted on the 4th line between Nolan and Pominville.

I wonder how his skills translate to a more talented college hockey team. No way he doesn't break 45 points.

Pominville should be in the pressbox the rest of the season...next year he should get playing time early, and when he starts fading somewhere in early November, put him back in the press box or send him to rochester

Yes I forgot about that one. We certainly had our chances last night but for the most part we were shooting the puck way wide or too high. Hopefully we'll be a little more accurate next Monday!

I'm sure he has value in some circles and if the Sabres can eat half of his celery, maybe a team would bite...but he's just plain sucked since that hot start in October...he's no good for this team moving forward, imo
