Sad day for the nhl Bill Torrey the ultimate class act as was al arbour together they built a dynasty and one of the greatest teams to ever play in the nhl. I know because I lived it.

BTW, other than a blurb going across the screen, I didn't catch any mention of Torrey's passing on the NHL pre-game, nor the game broadcast. That surprised me a little, although they could have mentioned it when I wandered away from the TV.

Like I said, there was a blurb going across the screen that mentioned it. But nothing verbal from Jones or JR or anyone else on the broadcast. I wasn't expecting a 10-minute tribute. Just an expression of condolences to his family.....

What they were too busy talking about Stormy Daniels? Just an FYI I did not vote for either candidate just tired of BS when we have enough BS just with the Isles.

Sad day for older fans of the Islanders. As an Oilers fan, I will always respect those Islander teams and everyone who was a part of it. They taught my team what it took to be Champions. There will never be an Asterix next to those Dynasties.
