It's not about points per game. it's about putting the team on your back and doing everything possible to win.
Look at Ovi in game 6 against the Lightning. He did everything except score, he was all over the ice, hitting, leading by example.

One mistake in this article. In 94-95, there was no Colorado Avalance, they were still the Quebec Nordiques. The Red Wings lost in the cup finals that year. They were beaten by Colorado in the 95-96 season in the Conference championship.
Bogey team would imply they lost to Colorado multiple times, like the Capitals have to the Penguins. |
