hopefully it works out but i think they messed up the timing a bit. even if youre talking really good prospects they can still take a while to solidfy themselves:

goalies 4-7 years
defenseman 3-6 years
forwards 1-4 years

theyll be fortunate if a defenseman in this draft can crack the lineup and play 40+ games before the 2020-21 season imo

You're not wrong, forwards tend to have a much shorter transition time. On the bright side, having a stronger forward group and goaltending will help to draw in quality FA defensemen.

i think he learned from last year, the news was out about EP getting a full tour in Vancouver.


So Vegas didn't trade up 1 spot out of fear that the Canucks might select Glass because they felt confident knowing that the Canucks would select EP.

I think every player has a story. If you can't come up with something to ask long-time Vegas resident Deryk Engelland after everything the team has been through this year, or even spell his name correctly???

I take a stance against emo bands on sheer principle unless they can really impress me. Fall out Boy has a couple songs I give a pass to. Simple plan I haven't heard anyone talk about since high school

I just base their relevance on the fact that I still see them being played on the radio regularly.
