It's not as if rookie goalies have to suck their first year. He's a 2-time AHL all-star backed up with an experienced guy. Should be fine

my concern is the teams he was behind were both very solid defensively.. he probably took on more low risk shots which could inflate his numbers. we shall see though and i am excited

I think a split goalie system is what you need in a cap era unless you have an elite goalie and I don't think many goalies are elite right now
