It's amazing that typing accuracy and basic grammar are not necessary in the world of garf. The Sabres' fan base really pulled the short straw when getting this guy to cover their team. |

This inspires me to use spellcheck often, I have the 10 seconds prior to hitting send, but I'm not a professional.

Sooo wait....The country club mentality is gone. The sense of entitlement doesnt exist. It has been replaced by a high-tempo, crisp, serious demeanor. In life and in the NHL, you play like you practice.
But then....For the past four seasons, the Sabres have been a bad team. Their bad habits were born during poor, mistake-filled, lackadaisical practices. They played like they practiced.
I'm confused..... |

The Sabres fan base complained to the point that he got his own "corner."

The Sabres won’t be going anywhere until they get themselves a real coach. |

A "winning state of mind" already...after a couple of practices? Hope springs eternal in Sabreland.
The real test for this team comes after a few months when they face real adversity. Does Housley actually know what he's doing? We'll find out. Will they quit on him if they stumble out of the gate?
There is nothing any Vet on this team can say to the media at this point, although they're obligated to be available by the league. Just start winning more games than you lose.
This is coming from a huge Sabres fan. |

Yeah, the problem is that Garth did not prefix it with the word "hopefully". Whether or not the players actually have a winning state of mind will be revealed soon. Ultimately, however, it is the first step to having a winning team. |

Did Housley actually say that whole training camp will be a b1tCh or are you actually starting to make up quotes? I have no recollection of Housley saying this. |
