As a Habs fan, I loved the guy. Great work ethic. Was a like a Gallagher-lite. Actually, I remember reading somewhere that him and Gally are good pals and train together in the off-season (with Carr's dad, I think)... regardless, was sad to see him go. Wish him all the best and hope that he carves out a role on an NHL club somewhere, if not Vegas.
Ceiling is probably only bottom-6, but he's the kind of player I can see scoring some clutch OT goals as a depth guy on a SC run. Would like him still on the Habs but I don't think we're going on any SC runs anytime soon, so probably for the best.
